A Little Bit About Me
Well I am a Hijaabi who likes to listen to music?! :o/ Right, now that I have all the interested ones still reading.... :)

I am a Sunni Muslim of Kashmiri/Pakistani origin (because apparently that is important to some people).

I try to pray 5 times a day, read Quran as often as I can (although not as often as I would like), I fast and give to charity regularly Alhamdolillah. I show a keen interest to progress in my deen.

I am a professional, educated to degree level working in Pharmaceuticals and enjoy what I do, but am looking to progress in my career.

I am a fun loving character (so I have been told) and like to try different activities to keep fit i.e. martial arts and dance fitness classes. I have a love for cinema and thats all kinds including Hollywood and Bollywood! I love watching the animated movies too and often find myself enjoying them more then young children, lol! I enjoy activities such as Ice Skating, Bowling etc. Am willing to try most things at least once but have a great fear of heights!!!

By nature, I am quiet and reserved until people get to know me which is when I learn that I can trust someone whole heartedly and will become more open as a result. I like people who are straight forward and to the point, I like to think of myself as approachable and helpful whenever I can be.

I am very close with my parents and siblings who are aware I am looking on this site for my potential partner.

I have a very sarcastic sense of humour probably as a result of growing up watching (and loving) Friends.

I am not only looking for a husband, but a friend, a confidante someone I can share my life with and all that comes with it. :o)

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a partner who is humble. I do not have any "special requirements" with regards to height, complexion colour etc. as I do not believe these are the qualities to look for in a future life partner, rather that I am looking for someone who will love and respect me, allow me to be myself and vice versa. Someone who I can have intelligent conversation with, and the odd occasional banter! :o)

Ideally I would like to meet someone who is educated to degree level (or above) and who is looking to progress their career, not in greed of money but because they have a love for what they do. I am looking for a British born and bred partner who holds similar values to myself. I am Muslim first, then British, then Pakistani (background).

Ideally I am looking for someone who shares the same closeness with their family as I do mine.
